At their May 2012 meeting, North Georgia Mopar Club (NGMC) honored Team Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse (including our honorary Third Horseman, Paul Chambers of Paul Chambers Mopar Restorations) and the team’s efforts to raise money for two great charities — American Diabetes Association and March of Dimes.  (The fact that the team has a track record of rescuing classic Mopars from fields and backyards and taking them out for the trip of a lifetime may have had something to do with it too…)

Believe it or not, Dodge was *not* the most spectacular vehicle present at the meeting. The slideshow below contains some of the unique Mopars at the meeting that upstaged him.

There is nothing like being less than eight weeks out from the start of a rally and discovering a mechanical problem that might lead to the team having to scrap its car and start over.  That’s exactly what happened to Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse.  Val suddenly developed a power problem accompanied by a low-frequency brushing, whining sound from her rear end.  Never a happy sound, and particularly concerning in a Plymouth Valiant.  (more…)
