Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse is delighted to announce that  North Georgia Mopar Club has returned as a THOTC sponsor for the 2012 BABE Rally!  THOTC and the North Georgia Mopar Club first became acquainted last year after a club member helped the team fix Val’s ailing rear-end less than a month before the Rally. Crash and Val went to check out the club at its 2011 Mopar Challenge show and Crash joined on the spot.

The North Georgia Mopar Club has again pledged generous support for American Diabetes Association and March of Dimes. Crash and Burn would like to thank the club for their generosity. Look for the club’s stickers on the team’s still-not-quite-ready-to-be-announced-Plan-B-Rally-car in the 2012 BABE Rally!

Incidentally, the club also operates its own charity, the N.G.M.C. HERO Fund. This great program sends care packages to U.S. military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The care packages contain items that are not issued to the troops and help make their daily lives while deployed more bearable. To date, the N.G.M.C. Hero Fund has sent more than 100 boxes, containing over 200 items that cost over $200 each to fill and ship. For more information about the fund and to learn how you can help, please contact the program’s organizers via e-mail at dinahandjoe (at) peoplepc (dot) com.

Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse is delighted to announce its newest sponsor,  North Georgia Mopar Club.  After learning about the club while searching for a cure for Val’s ailing rear-end last month, Crash and Val went to check them out at the club’s 2011 Mopar Challenge show and both had a great time. The club welcomed them with open arms and Crash joined on the spot.

After learning more about the team, Val and our efforts to raise money for American Diabetes Association and March of Dimes, the club’s president Rick Ellis made a personal pledge of support and subsequently let the team know that the North Georgia Mopar Club would be making a substantial pledge to American Diabetes Association on the team’s behalf.  Crash and Burn would like to thank the club for their generosity. Look for the club’s stickers on her rear door windows during the 2011 BABE Rally!

Though Val didn’t win any prizes at last week’s North Georgia Mopar Club 2011 Mopar Challenge, she met some great fellow Mopars and made some great new friends.  Everyone was very impressed with  (and amused by!) her ambition to complete the 1,500 miles comprising the 2001 BABE Rally (plus the 1,300 miles to get to and from the start and finish lines).  One of her new friends wanted to boost her odds of success and generously offered a donation in-kind to make her journey a little smoother.

Val (and Crash and Burn) would like to express thanks to the producers of Z-Alt Musclecar Motor oil for their kind donation, and the entire team is proud to display Z-Alt’s emblem on Val’s front quarters during the 2011 BABE Rally.

Val is still a little nervous about being out in public after so many years in backyards and musty garages. So, before her national debut in June at the 2011 BABE Rally , she wanted to make a local appearance and try out the limelight closer to home. With the North Georgia Mopar Club’s Mopar Challenge just around the corner (both geographically- and temporally-speaking), this seemed like the perfect opportunity for Val to re-take the stage.

Come out to Landmark Dodge in Morrow, GA on May 14th between 10 AM and 3 PM for good, clean Mopar family fun, to meet 2/3 of the Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse team, and pledge your support for American Diabetes Association and March of Dimes!
