As many of our fans already know, the BABE Rally means more to Team Two Horsemen of the Carpocalypse than just hours of agonizing labor prepping a car, a 16-hour white-knuckled drive to the start line and five long days of driving through southern heat in ridiculous costumes followed by marathon car repair sessions by night. Why do we do this? Well, because it is fun! But more importantly, we do it for a good cause — helping to raise money for American Diabetes Association and March of Dimes.
In the prior two years of the BABE Rally, the team raised over $5,000 for these two important charities thanks to pledges from our families, friends, fans and a small number of especially generous corporate sponsors. We have set a modest target this year of raising an additional $2,000 but hope to beat that by bringing on additional corporate sponsors. Past corporate sponsors Allpar.com, North Georgia Mopar Club, Paul Chambers MOPAR Restorations and z-Alt Muscle Car Oil graciously have returned for 2012, and we look forward to adding some new corporate sponsors to their distinguished ranks this year.
We can offer sponsor companies great visibility on our car, on our website and in the media. Corporate sponsors also receive the tax deduction for the amount they choose to donate as the donations are made directly to the charities. But most of all, we can offer our corporate sponsors hours and hours of warm fuzzy feelings and top-notch entertainment as they watch our team’s exploits through multiple photo and video updates each and every day of the 2012 BABE Rally.

The fine print: Corporate sponsors will need to provide high-resolution images (preferably .PNG files and at least 300dpi in the size selected) of their logo decal no later than close of business on May 24 in order for their logo to appear on the car in their selected size. Logos for decals received later will be placed on the car in the best available size and quality before the beginning of the Rally on June 4th. Corporate sponsors should make their donations directly to American Diabetes Association, March of Dimes or both in the amounts agreed no later than close of business on June 4th, 2012. Please note that, once donations are made, they cannot be refunded even in the event the team is unable to start or complete the Rally. As such, sponsors may wish to wait until June 4th to make their donations to ensure the team and car have at least reached the starting line.
