Alex of 2011 BABE Rally Team Three Amigos stopped by the party on Night 0 to check in with old friends, make some new ones, and cope emotionally with the fact that his schedule wouldn’t allow him to run the 2012 BABE Rally with us. As always, the aspiring filmmaker had a camera with him and couldn’t resist having a little fun with it. Thanks, Alex!

No, even Crash is not so directionally challenged as to think that is the route to the start line. Rather, Crash and Burn are taking a little detour to help out friends Scott and Laura of Foolswagen who are having some difficulty getting their 2012 BABE Rally car on the road. Visit their 2012 BABE Rally website and you quickly understand why they may be facing a few challenges with their “Yellow Submarine.” It is an awesome and ambitious build to say the least.

We will thrash with them overnight and get their Ghia going, and then convoy together up I-95 to Staten Island with an overnight stop in Alexandria, VA. Stay tuned for updates on the Thrash and the teams’ progress towards the starting line!
